La Torre Golf Resort Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.

Until October 25 Organ music season at the Sanctuary of Santa Eulalia de Mérida in Totana
4 recitals in the magnificent historical setting of the monastery just outside Totana
Throughout the month of October a series of 4 Saturday evening organ recitals is being held at the Sanctuary and church of Santa Eulalia de Totana, all beginning at 20.00 and with an admission charge of 12 euros. The programme for the season is as follows:
October 4
Roberto Fresco, the organ scholar at the Cathedral of Santa María la Real de la Almudena in Madrid and organ teacher at the “Katarina Gurska” musical institute, also in the national capital.
October 11
Carlos Paterson, organist at the Basílica del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús in Valencia Organ PRofessor at the Conservatorio Superior de Música of the city.
October 18
Miriam Cepeda, organist at the Basílica de Begoña in Bilbao and teacher at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música “Jesús de Monasterio” in Santander.
October 25
Marina López, harpsichord teacher at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música “Guitarrista José Tomás” in Alicante.
Each concert is followed by a glass of wine and a chance to meet the musician who has just performed, and the season is sponsored by Bodegas Luzón (in Jumilla). The post-recital gatherings are being held in the “La Santa Café by Martin’s” cafeteria onsite.
Tickets are on sale at La Santa Martin Café, Librería Faro and Librería Romero in Totana and online here at 12 euros, with a season ticket for all four recitals also available for 36 euros.
