This Costa Blanca golf resort has just won one of Spain’s top travel awards again
The luxury golf resort has now won the national title ten times, adding to seven European awards as it celebrates 15 years on the Costa Blanca

Las Colinas Golf & Country Club has been named Spain’s Leading Villa Resort at the 2026 World Travel Awards, with the latest win coming as the resort celebrates 15 years since it first opened its doors.
The award was announced on October 17 at the World Travel Awards’ European ceremony in Kotor, Montenegro, which brought together representatives from across the international tourism industry.
It’s not the first time Las Colinas has received the accolade. The resort has now won the Spanish title ten times, along with seven awards in the European category, building up an impressive record since its early days.
Gonzalo Valdés, Customer Director of Real Estate at Las Colinas, said the award was a welcome recognition of the work that goes into running the resort.
“Each recognition brings responsibility and encouragement for us to keep improving,” he said, explaining that the team had spent the past 15 years working to deliver a distinctive experience, with a strong emphasis on service and attention to detail.
“Receiving this award again is a source of pride and recognition for the efforts of everyone who forms part of Las Colinas,” he added.
Set in a 330-hectare valley surrounded by hills, Las Colinas combines residential properties with golf, dining and leisure facilities, all within a landscape it says it is committed to protecting.
Its 18-hole golf course is one of the main attractions, while there are three restaurants, unik, il Palco and umawa, to choose from. WOW Beach, the resort’s beach club beside the Mediterranean, offers another option for those who fancy spending time by the sea.
There are also sporting and wellness activities, while the residential properties, sold under the Las Colinas Residential brand, feature contemporary architecture intended to fit into the natural surroundings.
The resort places particular emphasis on low-density development and sustainability, with the landscape playing a central role in its approach.
With ten Spanish titles and seven European awards behind it, Las Colinas has certainly given the World Travel Awards judges plenty to talk about over the past 15 years.
