September 16 to 20 Fiestas in La Manga del Mar Menor
Five days of music, food and other events in La Manga
The Plaza Bohemia in La Manga del Mar Menor (click for map) is hosting five days of local fiestas between 16th and 20th September, with activities which include live music, fun and games for children, gastronomy, competitions and of course a firework disiplay.
The programme has been announced as follows:
Wednesday September 16
18.00: The stalls and stands open and the official opening ceremony takes place.
19.00: Presentation by Marioly Vivancos of Viviendo La Manga.
20.00: Opening speech by Juan Pérez.
20.30: Live entertainment with Conectados.
22.30: More music with Siempre Disco Remember.
1.00: DJ music.
2.30: Close.
Thursday September 17, music and activities for all the family
12.00: The stalls and stands open.
13.00: Gastronomic tasting.
18.00 to 20.00: Children’s games, a mechanical bull, etc.
19.00: Salsation display.
20.00: Live entertainment with Marco Elvis.
22.00: The Nowhere Plan, a Beatles tribute act.
Midnight: DJ music.
2.30: Close.
Friday September 18 – gastronomy and karaoke take centre stage
12.00: The stalls and stands open.
13.00: Gastronomic tasting.
18.00: Medusas Cake workshop.
19.00: Full Body Dance class with Hely.
20.00: Taekwondo exhibition.
21.00: Karaoke contest with a trophy for the winner! Registration for up to 12 competitors by email to asocvecinoslamanga@gmail.com.
22.30: Maritim Fest.
3.30: Close.
Saturday September 19, concerts, fireworks and prizegiving
12.00: The stalls and stands open.
13.00: Live music with Los Fluidos.
19.00: Mobile disco for children and a Medusa’s Cake photocall.
20.00: The Atomics Orbitals live in concert.
22.00: “Iros todos a tomar por culo”, an Extremoduro tribute act.
00.15: Firework display.
00.30: Prizegiving.
00.45: DJ music.
3.30: Close.
Sunday September 20, the last day of the fiestas.
10.00: Gathering of motorcycles and riders.
12.00: The stalls and stands open.
14.00: Biking rock with Los Duques.
17.00: The official closing ceremony of the fiestas.
