New neighbourhood group takes shape on Camposol
Camposol neighbourhood and homeowners will have a new association with the launch of the AVC group
Some eagle-eyed Camposol residents have spotted a new website has appeared in the name of AVC or Asociación de Vecinos de Camposol (Spanish for Camposol Neighbourhood Association). The new not-for-profit association promises "Advice and support in the management of procedures and public services - Activities and workshops to improve the quality of life of residents - Creation and maintenance of free sports facilities - Community projects to improve the urbanisation and its surroundings".
Nigel Jones, President of the new association, has confirmed that the group will be free to join with no membership fees and is aimed at improving the quality of life for Camposol residents, adding that the association has already had meetings with Mazarrón Council and that all the necessary documentation had been completed and was being processed by the authorities.
He also added that the association was expecting to have an office in the Social Centre on Sector B twice a week, the association could also be contacted through the website or by email to admin@avc.org.es, or by phone on 0034 658 242 591.
