A marina at the southern end of La Manga del Mar Menor

Club Náutico La Isleta, marina in Puerto Bello, La MangaThe Puerto Deportivo La Isleta is a leisure port located in the Puerto Bello part of the southern end of La Manga del Mar Menor, providing mooring for 175 craft in the calm water of Europe’s largest saltwater lagoon. Access from the Mediterranean is not possible via the neighbouring Gola de Marchamalo except for Club Náutico La Isleta, marina in Puerto Bello, La Mangavery small craft, so most boats crossing into the Mar Menor will use the Tomás Maestre crossing a couple of kilometres further north. Draft at the harbour entrance is between 1.65 and 1.80 metres, and the maximum length of boat catered for is 12 metres.

The Club Náutica La Isleta offers sailing and other water sports courses, especially during the summer, and the onsite facilities also include a popular restaurant and a tennis court.

This is a popular destination for beachgoers, as the inland side of the harbour consists of a long stretch of sandy shoreline (known as the Playa de Puerto Bello), and is lined with residential development. Beach bars and a floating restaurant are among the attractions for visitors whose interest in La Manga is not exclusively nautical.
