August 17 and 19 Stories of the Sea in Los Alcázares
A musical stroll through the history of the Mar Menor
Historias de la Mar is an unusual tour of Los Alcázares brought to life by musicians Tomás García y Paco Frutos and local chronicler Antonio Zapata, who guides the participants through the history of the area while his musical companions illustrate the story with some of the old songs, ballads and coplas which have been heard during the summer for well over 100 years.
The tours on 17th and 19th August begin at 19.30 in the Plaza del Espejo and last approximately 90 minutes- taking part is completely free of charge but online registration is required here (17th August).
