La Torre Golf Resort Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.

August 14 Free guided hike along the coast from Percheles to Puntas de Calnegre
A 6.8 km route along the south-westernmost stretch of the Mazarrón coastline
This hiking route runs along the largely flat coastline between Percheles in Mazarrón and Puntas de Calnegre, which is just the other side of the boundary with the municipality of Lorca, passing the beaches of Palazuelos and Los Cloques on the way. It covers a distance of 6.8 km and is expected to last approximately 3 and a half hours, starting at 18.00 at a point of which participants will be notified after they have completed registration (which is available online here).
Those joining in will need their own means of transport to and from the starting point and should bring plenty of drinking water as well as wearing appropriate footwear. NOTE: the use of walking poles is obligatory, pets are not allowed and under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
Participation is entirely free of charge.
