October 5 and 6 Mazarrón hosts sixth Edition of the Spanish Flysky Championship 2024

Mazarrón becomes the focus of sport at the national level by hosting the sixth Edition of the Spanish Flysky Championship 2024, on October 5 and 6 at the Puerto de Mazarrón Marina. Competition starts at 10.00 am, trophy presentation 2.00pm.
In a presentation by Mazarrón Mayor Ginés Campillo, accompanied by the Councillor for Sports, María Isabel Carrillo, the general director of Sports of the Region of Murcia, Fran Sánchez, and various authorities related to the organisation of this important competition.
This edition will see the best Flyskiers in the country competing against each other, consolidating Mazarrón as a reference destination for high-level sports competitions. During the presentation of the event, Mayor Ginés Campillo thanked the organisers, both the Spanish Federation and the Murcian Flysky Federation for choosing Mazarrón again as the venue for this prestigious championship, as well as the Marina for providing its facilities and the sponsors who make it possible.
"The choice of Mazarrón to host this prestigious competition underlines the relevance of our natural environment, which offers the perfect conditions for the development of nautical and air sports," said the mayor.
In addition, he emphasised that the Spanish Flysky Championship is not only an opportunity for locals to enjoy a unique event, but also an opportunity to value sports tourism, a fundamental pillar for the promotion of Mazarrón at the national level.
For her part, Councillor for Sports, María Isabel Carrillo, expressed her confidence that "this edition will be a success thanks to the joint effort of all the participants, organisers, sponsors, technical staff and, of course, the unbeatable environment offered by the Puerto de Mazarrón Marina".
