August 12 Gloria Gaynor in concert in San Pedro del Pinatar
The disco goddess frontlines the Sal de Música festival in San Pedro this August
She may be 81, and it may be 24 years since her last UK hit single crept into the charts at number 85, but Gloria Gaynor is still strutting her stuff with a series of live shows all over the world, and on 12th August 2025 she is topping the bill on the opening night of the “Sal de Música” festival in San Pedro del Pinatar.
The concert begins at 22.30 at the fairground (“Recinto de Fiestas”) in San Pedro, with tickets available online here for between 40 and 90 euros.
If only on account of her perennial number 1 hit “I Will Survive”, Gloria Gaynor needs no introduction. But apart from the 70s anthem which has somehow become representative of gay communities all over the world, she also scored a series of hits during her heyday including Never Can Say Goodbye, I Am What I Am, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You and Reach Out I’ll Be There.
The full line-up for the San de Música Festival 2025 also includes the Argentinian duo Pimpinela on 13th August, humour from Aguilera y Meni on 14th August, Iván Ferreiro on 15th August and Vanesa Martín on 16th August.
